If you have rented the entire Schoolhouse and property: Â The renter must clean up all areas (inside and out) when done and replace any equipment broken or damaged during the rental time.
We charge clean-up fees of $40.00 for use of the gym, a classroom or the kitchen and $125.00 for cleaning the entire school.
Children are not permitted to be in the playroom without supervision.
If you choose to do the clean-up, it includes:Â
- Washing table tops and putting away all tables and chairs where you found them.
- Washing all the dishes, cups, and kitchen utensils etc and putting them all back where they belong.
- Dust-mopping all the floors in the school that were used and then wet-mopping them.
- Vacuuming the rugs throughout the school.
- All supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, cleaning supplies, mops, vacuum, etc. are in the custodial room.
- Cleaning the toilets and sinks in the washrooms and replacing the toilet paper, hand soap, and towels.
- Emptying the garbage into one or two bags and replacing the bags.
- Placing any returnable bottles and cans in the blue bins near the propane tank enclosure.
- Picking up any litter around the schoolyard if it was used.
- Turning both thermostats down to 10c (one in each classroom).
- Ensuring that all doors are locked upon departure.
- There is no dishwasher, so dishes need to be washed, dried, and put away. (Dishwashing supplies are under the double sink. Â Dish towels, cloths, and aprons are in the drawer next to the double sink or in the drawer of the desk beside the stove in the kitchen).
***Any damage incurred will be billed to the renter.Â
